Yellow Rail

Yellow Rail! It really wanted to approach when it heard another bird 'behind' me (my rocks making call) but finally realized that I was in the way right about when this picture was taken. It swam back to the grass and disappeared for good. Never heard-it just appeared along the sedge grass edge, where it sat for about a minute before swimming out. This photo was taken about a week before I was shown how to shoot in low light. So unfortunately, this is what I got. Bird reported calling for at least two days before I saw it by Andy Johnson. I got no response when I tried for the last time on the 9th.
